Brain Fog Stack

Food Edition

The Stack

Do you often experience brain fog? If so, does it usually occur after eating?

Well, today’s stack is dedicated to eliminating your brain fog, which according to Dr Rhonda Patrick is caused by the postprandial glucose response. This refers to the rise in blood glucose after eating, which can lead to the lack of clarity and decision-making associated with brain fog.

This stack is from Dr Rhonda Patrick.

  1. Avoiding refined carbohydrates is enemy number one for brain fog.

  2. One to three minutes of vigorous exercise, 30 to 60 minutes before or after a meal, redirects glucose gained from food into the muscles rather than the bloodstream, slowing down the glucose spike (aka the postprandial glucose response) - therefore allowing you to avoid brain fog.

  3. Reordering your food by eating protein or fat 10 to 30 mins before carbs, slows down the glucose spike that causes brain fog.
