We’re moving into the exercise space with today’s stack.

The Supplement is all about giving you the most time and cost-efficient stacks to get you healthier and this stack is the perfect example of that.

This cardio stack is part of Dave Asprey’s biohacking manual.

The Stack

This stack aims to give you the same impact as the long cardio session (running or cycling) but in half the time. You can apply this stack in the gym or outside.

  1. Start with a high intensity (100% effort) for around 1 to 2 minutes

  2. Change pace to medium intensity (50% effort) again for 1 to 2 minutes

  3. Slow down to a very low intensity, allowing your heart rate to return to its normal pace

  4. Pick up the pace back to high and repeat this 4 to 5 times (this should take 15 - 20 minutes)

Cardio has taken a bit of a back seat recently, with weight lifting gaining a strong spotlight as the ‘exercise to do’. However, the classic cardio is just as essential as it has ever been, and for optimal health, cardio should be part of your weekly exercise routine.
